New garage doors in Reno
A new garage door changes the look of a house more than almost anything else, and an insulated door makes the garage noticeably warmer in winter.

Reno is high desert: dry, sunny and windy, with cold nights that freeze and thaw for much of the year.
Reno's dry heat and wind are hard on weather seals, and big temperature swings wear springs and openers. If the door won't lift after a loud bang, it's almost always a broken spring.
Don't try to replace torsion springs yourself. They hold a lot of tension and cause serious injuries every year.
Common questions
Is an insulated door worth it?
If the garage is attached or you work in it, usually yes, especially through cold winters.
Can I keep my old opener?
Often, if it's in good shape and rated for the new door's weight.
Can I open the door with a broken spring?
It's not safe to force it. The door can be very heavy without the spring. Leave it closed until it's fixed if you can.
